FINAT, the international association for the European label industry, has announced the election of two new Board members and the extension of Philippe Voet’s term as president until mid-2026. These developments reinforce FINAT’s mission to connect, inspire, and support the label industry across its well-established community.

Jeremy Lagay, president of Iconex Europe, joins the Board with extensive experience in label converting and innovation. He brings valuable insight into advancing sustainable and efficient solutions in the label industry. Meanwhile, Thomas Macina, sales director for Labels & Flexible Packaging at Durst Group, boasts expertise in cutting-edge printing technologies that will contribute to FINAT’s efforts to drive technological advancements and foster innovation.

Their appointments underscore FINAT’s commitment to representing a broad spectrum of stakeholders in the label industry, including label converters of all sizes, laminators, equipment suppliers, and consumables suppliers.

Meanwhile, to enable a smooth transition to his designated successor, Dana Kilarska, Voet has extended his term as FINAT president with another year, until mid-2026. Under Voet’s leadership, FINAT has implemented its four-pillar strategy to enhance industry engagement and foster collaboration across the value chain. His extended tenure will ensure continuity and sustained progress on key objectives.

Voet comments, “I am honored to continue serving as president and to work alongside such a passionate and forward-thinking community. Together, we will build on the momentum we have created to empower the label industry and further strengthen the association by engaging with the next generation of professionals. We aim to future-proof FINAT and ensure that our industry remains resilient and vibrant for years to come.”

FINAT remains steadfast in its commitment to empowering the label industry. A major focus is the integration and attraction of the next generation of professionals to FINAT’s workstreams. By doing so, the organization aims to maintain and further enhance its dynamic and inclusive community, ensuring the industry’s resilience and growth in the years to come.

“The addition of Jeremy and Thomas to the Board, alongside the extension of Philippe’s presidency, positions FINAT to further strengthen its role as the unifying voice of the label industry in Europe,” states Jules Lejeune, managing director. “Together, we will continue to advance our mission of fostering innovation, sustainability, and collaboration across the value chain.”
